"Do yourself no harm for we are all here" (Acts 16:28).
It is important to remember that God is Infinitely Merciful and that He is outside of time. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide pray for that person to die a happy death right now. St. Padre Pio said that he could just as easily pray for the happy death of his great grandmother as for someone who is dying today because God is outside time. At the moment of a person’s death God can see the future prayers that will be prayed for that soul and apply them in the person’s moment of greatest need.
The Lifeline Against Suicide Team (L.A.S.T.) is a prayer initiative of the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Healing Love. LAST was formed in November 2012 to pray for:
1. people who are tempted to die by suicide;
2. people who have died by suicide;
3. grieving families and friends.
Please join L.A.S.T. by praying daily a prayer of your choice for these intentions!
