The event of the Immaculate Conception is the precursor
of the Divine Mystery of our salvation.
Our Charism of Healing Love flows out of this wondrous Mystery.
The Daughters of Mary, Mother of Healing Love are being led by the Holy Spirit through the charism of Healing Love for the evangelization of the family. Healing Love is “Divine Love, Himself.” From all eternity, Jesus has ordained that we are to live out two facets of His Divine Love in our daily thoughts, words and actions. One facet is spiritual. It’s signature grace is an exchange of hearts with Mary through total consecration to Jesus through Mary.
As Daughters of Mary we are called to be "Mary-formed,” drawn by a singular grace to follow in her footsteps and in her simplicity. “Mary, completely united to the Divine Will, first bore Christ in her heart then, in her body gave Life to the world.” (cf. Lumen Gentium)
He, Who is Healing Love, can only be born in our hearts by our habitually depending on Mary. Surrendering the entirety of ourselves through total consecration to Jesus through Mary, we give her permission to transform our hearts and souls, becoming so identified with her (through an exchange of hearts) that we are with her always and everywhere. Contemplating the beauty of Mary's virtues and allowing her to live and work through us, even in the ordinary actions of everyday life, we manifest her presence wherever we go.
Perpetually living in the Heart of Mary, she shares with us her loving passion for the Holy Trinity, her tireless patience with sinners, her love for burdened families and for those persons who do not yet know God.
The second facet is letting people know how deeply Jesus loves them and how much He wants each person He has created to spend eternity with Him in a life of everlasting happiness. For us that is the meaning of evangelization.
The evangelical mystery of our charism is to allow Jesus through Mary to reach out to others through us. It is through our Lady, Mother of Healing Love, that we enter into the awesome work of Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom, bringing all men to Himself (Jn 12:32). Taking the lead of the Holy Spirit, Who wishes the soul of Mary to permeate each of us, it is as if, by grace, we are extending the Mystery of Mary's Visitation.
In this way, through Her Daughters who are clothed in the light of her Immaculate Conception and carrying Christ within, Mary enters every family, bringing Healing Love into the world...over and over again.
