I do not dispute the right of atheists to fly their flag in Somersworth, NH. But why would they want to? Poverty is not a cause to celebrate. Not knowing that one is infinitely loved is the greatest form of poverty.
There is a village in Bosnia-Herzegovina where Mary, the Mother of Jesus has been appearing to six people since 1981. She has a great love for unbelievers; she refers to them as “those who have not yet experienced God’s Love.”
Christians know and believe that we have a Father in Heaven Who created every person out of love. He sent His only Begotten Son Jesus into the world to redeem us from our sins. Jesus is the Way to eternal communion of joy with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That is the joy of Christmas! That is the joy that we will celebrate eternally and that we pray all people will find.
Christmas in Killarney includes the lyrics, “The door is always open; the neighbors pay a call.” We warmly welcome ALL of our fellow sinners to enter through the Door of Jesus into His one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church where the fire of His Infinite Love for us is always burning brightly.
